I did two transaction today for duracell and didnt get any catalina( i bought 4 in first and it didnt work so i bought 8 in second but didnt get the secondtime) i mailed catalina guys and they emailed me back that that catalina has ended on 11-16-2010. I was just wondering if any of u have that catalina teaser stating the end date for that promotion so that i will fight for this with catalina company.
Is the cat size specific? e.g AAA, C or whatever? Just a thought….

It is frustrating that this is happening……although, I said on my Facebook page, it has happened before…..Meijer with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, Kroger last summer with the Purex deal. I was able to buy on Tuesday based on shelf price and got the catalina. Then I tried again based on shelf price and no catalina. Tried again today using sale price and still didn’t get the catalina. I wonder if we can get a picture that shows the date if customer service will honor it?? Karen, I’ll check my spam folder and see if the comments showed up there (since there was a picture it may have automatically done that!).

RE: Duracell batteries. I bought 15 packs of the Duracell batteries (all in 1 order)and it didn’t give me any Catalinas. This was at the Krogers in Englewood.
Other sites are talking about having the same problem with the cat. on the Duracell, some are saying it might have been a regional sale. I had coupons for them, so for me it was still a great deal.
Yep, I tried the duracell deal on Tuesday and no go as well. WUC is reporting the same problems. It stinks when they do this.
I also had problems with the kleenex deal. There is signage for buy 4, get $1 back. Hoping for the best, I bought six, but nothing printed at all. Went to CS to get at least my $1, and she looked through a book. I’ve never seen them do that before, but she couldn’t find it. She gave me my $1, but I think she went to check and/or yank the sign.
Now I know the Kleenex is active! Somewhere around here I have the printout for that one….I’ll see if I can find it and get it posted in case there are any more problems. It is very frustrating for shoppers when they do things like that!
Great News if you have a Jay C store in your area. They are owned by Krogers so they run some of the same sales. I went tonight and bought 8 pks of the Duracell batteries. Catalina for $3 printed. Whoohoo!! Went home and got more coupons and returned to buy more. Final price $1.95 including tax for 8 pks. Dont know how long the cat will print. Gonna try for 16 more packs tomorrow.
I thought about that when I was at JayC earlier this week but at the time Kroger was honoring the cat. I’ll shop Milan and you can shop Osgood, LOL
