“Buy 4 Participating Items, Receive $6.00 Off Your Bill!”

I have seen elsewhere that you must buy 6 items…? I don’t have an ad so I can’t check?

    • savingmoneywisely says:

Nope – it’s buy 4 get $6.00 off – From the ad – “Final Cost With Card When You Buy 4 Select Varieties, All items must be purchased in the same transaction with Card. Other Quantities outside of this offer at $2.99. Buy Any 4, Save $6″ Hope that helps :-)

  2. Betsey A. says:

Glad to see stockpile prices on cereal. I heard on the news that cereal is going up in price next month.

  3. Jennifer says:

Will be making a trip or two for cereal this week. I am down to one box left.

  4. Shae says:

I seen you had a target coupon for the reeses puff cereal for the sale at kroger and i was just wanting to know can you use the target coupons at other stores? And thanks alot for this website it has saved my family alot of $!!!

    • savingmoneywisely says:

It is a manufacture coupon – not a Target store coupon. The coupon still starts with a “5″ and says Manufacture coupon on the top. The only difference is that it does have the Target logo on the coupon. Some stores may see this and want to press the issue – but when it comes down to it is doesn’t have anything on it like “Redeem only at Target” or any wording like that. The redemption instructions and all are just the same as a regular coupon. Hope that helps!

  5. Chris says:

Must be in a different region. I’d assume that around Detroit would be pretty much the lowest cost of living, but things like the Hungry Man are priced over $2, even after the buy 10 get $5 off promotion. Unless you mistakenly took an additional 50 cents off each items.

Also, coupons up to 50 will double. Coupons between 51 and 99 cents do not “double” up to a dollar. That’s why you see so many 55 cent coupons.

    • savingmoneywisely says:

I am in the Cincinnati region, and yes, the correct price is $1.78 for the Hungry Man (after mega discount). Each Kroger region has their own coupon policy. Here in Cincinnati coupons up to $0.50 will double and coupons $0.51 to $0.99 are adjusted to be redeemed at $1.00. Our Meijer stores here also have that some policy on double coupons – it just depends what region you are in.

    • Karen says:

Kroger pricing is very regional. Even markets as close as Cincinnati and Columbus (90 minutes apart) have different pricing.

Detroit/Ann Arbor pricing does tend to be higher than Cincinnati for both Kroger and Meijer….I find this odd, especially for fruit from MI (blueberries, apples) at Meijer (a MI based store).

    • Princess says:

How did you get your avatar?????????

  6. Princess says:

I’m thankful that I’m in the Cincinnati region with ya. I just randomly came across this blog and was so thrilled because this is my favorite blog! I was gonna say thanks for the McCormick grinder info. I didn’t see the sale in the ad at my Kroger and when I went over to the grinders there was also no advertisement for the $3/off. I doubled checked your site on my phone at Kroger to make sure I was reading it right lol. I needed some spices so I said what the heck and picked some up anyway. I smiled so big when I got my Catalina. Your site has been such a blessing to my household. You take on so much initiative by trying to find unadvertised sales, you put the deals in order from free to highest dollar (that is a huge help…most sites do not do that). Thank you for all you do!

    • savingmoneywisely says:

Aww..thanks! I’m glad that you like the site and have found it helpful. And thanks for the feedback on the listing free to highest dollar. I find it helpful but wasn’t sure if anyone else did ;-)
