If you saw my earlier post about mPerks going live - I hope you have taken the time to sign up. If you've not yet done this - do it now! Meijer mPerks is a great new program that brings Meijer into the digital age with coupons. You register will your cellular phone number and they'll send you an activation code. You log into your account and voila! - You have coupons available to "clip" to your account.
I was pleasantly surprised to see there were a variety of coupons available. Take a look at what you'll have at your fingertips on you sign up:
$5.00 off of a $5.00 purchase (valid through 8/28/10)
$0.50/1 Superpretzel
$0.35/1 Hillshire Farm Lunchmeat
$0.75/1 Smart Balance Milk
There are several others as well. It appears that these coupons are redeemed by looking for the mPerks logo during checkout (either at the bottom of the credit card scanner machine or on the UScan at the bottom of the screen). You'll then be prompted to put in your 10 digit phone number that you registered with.
Remember, just for signing up you'll get the $5.00 off of a $5.00 purchase, and with Meijer's rocking deals this week, it's a good week to have that! So, get signed up here!

In the meijer mealbox there is another coupon for $0.55 off of the Hillshire Farm Lunchmeat
THanks for this post…and your update about the issues! I had problems even signing up the other day, but did it with no problems today. I printed my mperks coupons (in case there are problems).
Do you know how these electronic coupons will be treated? Are they store coupons or manufacturer coupons (if manufacturer, will they be doubled)? Can they be combined with manufacturer coupons and/or Meijer Mealbox coupons?
The mperks are considered to be store coupons, so they *should* be able to be used along with manufacture coupons. They do have a blurb on the coupons that state that they can not be combined with any other Meijer discount coupons – so yes on stacking with a manufacture coupon, but no on stacking with a mealbox coupon.
It sounds like they are still working out some of the kinks – hopefully by the weekend it will be running smoothly (since they’re saying the “public” launch is 8/29).
A Meijer cashier told me last week that they now accept the Kroger coupons that get printed out at the end of your paying for your order. I’m going to try it this week. Have you heard of that?
I know that some stores will take the catalina coupons that print out, since they are technically manufacture coupons. I know it does depend on the store if they’ll take them or not – but if your cashier said you can at that store – go for it!
