RE Using shortcuts/cellfire/Kroger e-coupons in combination w/ MQ.

I feel *very strongly* that if Kroger does not want us to use more than one type of coupon on an item, then they should develop software that "locks out" use of multiple coupon types on an item. It is ridiculous (IMHO) to expect the customer to remember what coupons have been loaded on to their card in recent weeks from what vendor.

I work hard to coupon ethically (e.g. using coupon for exactly what it was meant for, not using expired coupons, etc.), but this is asking a bit much.....

At this point I am saying yes.....I am working on a post about this actually :-) There has been a lot of back and forth if you can or can't - so I went straight to the source. I emailed shortcuts and asked them if this was allowed - they said it is up to the retailer......so I emailed Kroger and asked them and was told that yes, you can use a store coupon and a manufacture coupon on an item......so at this point, I am going with yes - you can! (look for a post within the next week outlining all of this!) I hope that helps!

Yes, the $1.50/1 is for the dryer bar, there is also a $0.25/1 for the dryer sheets that came out yesturday 3/7/10 in the P&G insert. As far as which is on sale....I am not for sure - it says "select varieties" in the ad......I will try to stop by and check today and then make the post more clear as far as what all is included - Sorry about that - it can get confusing when there are multiple types of products :-)

Regarding the bounce--isn't the 1.50 for the dryer bar, not the sheets? Which item is actually on sale, or are both part of the sale? Thanks!

Oh, ok. I am in Southeast Tennessee. That may be why I never noticed. They probably don't do it here. Thanks!

Maranda -

In the Cincinnati area all Kroger will double all up to $0.50, then any above $0.50 to $1.00 double (or, really adjust) up to $1.00. So yes, here in Cincinnati region a $0.75 coupon = $1.00. It does depend on your region though. I have a reader that shops Northwest of this region and her Kroger does not double like this...... are you in the Cincinnati region or somewhere else (I can help you track down their policy if you're somewhere else!) I hope that helps :-)

The $0.75 off coupons double up to $1.00?? I did not know this. Is ths in the corporate coupon policy or in certain stores. I don't think I have paid enough attention to my receipt on coupons of that amount. I knew of them doing it up to $0.50.
